Prevent user from creating files which do have more than 260

Hi,
We're currently having issues with users which are making dozens of folders with long filenames.
The path's do have more than 260 characters.
I know that this issue is a general issue. But I was hoping about hearing any news, if there are some.
But my questions still are:
- Is the issue still exist? Also with the newest builds?
